House-and-land packages in Queensland are becoming a growing market due to strong interest from both locals as well as interstate and international buyers.

The Federal Government’s newly announced housing initiatives seek to address this imbalance by providing affordable and social housing to Queenslanders. Priority will be given for affordable apartments to certain groups such as single mothers with children, young people, Indigenous Australians and key workers.
These new apartments will be constructed across seven sites in Brisbane, with construction already underway at Redcliffe, Stones Corner and two locations in Chermside. Housing Australia will contribute $300 million, the Queensland Government $405 million and Australian Retirement Trust superannuation $150 million towards these projects, while The Brisbane Housing Company will oversee their delivery.
